I decided to make an Icon set based off the Diary of a Wimpy Kid films. I wanted to make them simplistically, icons that would look nice as small stickers that could be put onto a children's diary.

In my initial sketches, I was deciding what elements and what shape I wanted the icons to be. I considered that all the characters have distinct hairstyles and I figured out how to portray that with a simple design.

I got some feedback on my draft, saying that Greg's (top right) hair should be tweaked to look more natural. I also decided to lower stroke of the mouth lines by a little bit.

I gave the icons white strokes and drop shadows to give them a sticker/diary look. I received more feedback to thicken the white strokes to make it more intentional, which I improved for my final version.

In my final draft, I thickened the lines and made a lined paper background to show what the icons would look like as stickers. I feel like the objectives were met when looking at them on paper in this situation.
